Whether you want to share a moment today with your other half, or whether you're spending the evening alone, its a good time to have a nice relaxing evening and unwind.

Set the mood

There are many ways to create a relaxing environment. Play some soft music or nice sounds. We're really partial to this website for some really awesome and customisable soundscapes that will immediately give you a spa atmosphere.

Get some nice lights, simple fairy lights that you can place somewhere safe, or even battery-operated waterproof lights that you can put around the side or even in your bath water for a bit of fun.

If you have an essential oil diffuser, you can also set the mood with a lovely scent. We prefer diffusers that don't burn the oils, such as this one.

Run a bath

Make it fun, use a bath bomb or some bath salts. Try some of these Amazon US products. You could alternatively put a few drops of lavender oil in the water for instance (make sure you use essential oils that are safe to use topically, and you don't have any allergies to those).

No bath? No problem. Try a steaming hot shower and then wrap yourself up in a lovely towel or bathrobe, and give your feet a nice warm soak with some salts.

Take it in turns or use a self-massager

Its a lovely feeling to be massaged by your other half. You could even give each other a lovely foot massage at the same time while sitting opposite from each other.

No skills, no worries! Try these, you really just need to do slow circular and repetitive movement.

If you're alone, fear not, many self-massagers can deliver a very relaxing moment at the touch of a button while you just close your eyes and take it easy.
